The Escambia County Citizens Coalition (a registered not for profit organization) was formed to increase the public's knowledge, interest and involvement in local governmental matters. Our president is Dr. Gregg Strand, a local veterinarian. The Coalition now sponsors a hourly television show bi-weekly on BLAB TV (Citizen's Voice) which airs at 8PM on Tuesday evenings (see TV schedule). When a need arises, special television shows are also aired - times to be announced. The show invites a variety of guests who debate or discuss a wide range of topics. We also invite your participation as call-ins are welcomed. We regularly attend local government meetings and often add our voice to the issues being discussed. We sincerely invite you to join us and participate in bringing about more responsible and responsive government to Escambia County. |
